yesterday's shoes...


Shoes on display in the historic Amess House on Churchill Island in Westernport Bay...
(Samuel Amess was mayor of Melbourne 1869-70)...
He purchased the property from the original farm owner John Rogers,
and the Amess family owned the property from 1872- 1928...
They mainly used the property as a holiday retreat...

Lovely arrangement. I suppose they are evening shoes and the fan would also be carried. Your photo is very attractive.
